Biography

Reynaldos de la Sierra is a legacy sierreño group from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, that has masterfully transitioned its rich family heritage into the modern música Mexicana era. Originally founded in 2000 by Reynaldo Valenzuela Almada, the group is now led by his son, Jesús Reynaldo, alongside cousins Kevin Arrieta and Omar Rodriguez, continuing a tradition that spans over 55 albums. In early 2025, the group signed with Peso Pluma’s Double P Records and Prajin Parlay Inc., marking a major turning point that introduced their traditional sound to a global audience. This new chapter has been defined by high-impact releases, including the sierreño-belico tribute album Somos Double P and the 2025 studio project Bateando Duro, which features hit singles like “M3” and “Tú Sí”. By blending the soul of classic sierreño with modern “bélico” influences, Reynaldos de la Sierra enters 2026 as a premier force in the genre, bridging the gap between deep-rooted Sinaloense history and the contemporary music scene.
