A veteran of the regional Mexican scene who first gained traction with albums like Sigue Al Frente (2014) and Nuevos Talentos (2016), Mercado experienced a major career resurgence in early 2025 after signing with Peso Pluma’s Double P Records. This partnership has propelled him to the forefront of the corridos tumbados movement, leading to the release of high-impact projects such as the 2025 studio album Avance Sin Fin and the live compilation En Vivo 2025.
